Why does the display have no backlight? Can I see the readings at night?

How long does the battery last? Do I need to buy batteries separately?
Solar-hybrid tech plus 3 AA batteries (not included) offers up to 12 months of life. The solar panel harvests energy from sunlight and indoor light to minimize battery drain.
How often does the data update?
Screen updates every 30s. Bluetooth syncs every 2s. WiFi cloud updates every 1h, but alerts for temp/humidity breaches are pushed to your phone instantly.
Can I use it in a fridge?
No. It is not intended for fridges/freezers. Low temps and high humidity can damage components, and metal walls block WiFi signals. Best for rooms, greenhouses, or basements.

Our algorithm tracks 6 indicators like Mold Risk. Connected to WiFi, the App also syncs local city weather forecasts, allowing you to compare indoor and outdoor conditions at a glance.
